From Bryant, to State Department, to Marines: Accomplished student looks to a future of possibilities

Last fall, Michael Biskupic ’20 worked as a political and economic affairs intern with the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany. He says his Bryant experience helped him make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Biskupic credits Jongsung Kim, Ph.D., Professor of Economics, as having been a “guiding light,” and for deepening his understanding of economics. “There’s a passion [Bryant faculty] have – not just for the subject, but also for teaching.” Biskupic plans to follow in the footsteps of his father as he commissions into service as a Marine lieutenant.
